OG Trail

The trail. At this point in The Return of the Spirit of Elijah campaign, to be taken back by the beauty of His creation never ceased to amaze. I understand why families risked their lives on the Oregon Trail and pioneer a new life apart from the eastern city lifestyle.

Our drive from Olympia to Salem was beautiful and short. I heard from the Lord, that we would need to stay focused, moving from one capitol to another or we would be overtaken by the blizzards.  Then in my mind I saw us moving on a map.  As we went along on the map, I saw storms moving all around us. Some behind and some in front of us. It looked like we would push the ones in front of us along and then as we left an area, the next storm would hit there.

As we left Juneau, Alaska, they got several feet of snow. That storm was now hitting Olympia, Washington and we could see it approaching Salem, Oregon. As we got to the capitol, it was in the upper 30’s, sun mixed with rain and pretty windy.

We all get out and make our way around the building to pray the ring of fire around it.  Kristi and the Kiddos explored inside and I continued around the capitol grounds.  The gardens were so pretty, life growing on everything.  Moss covering trees, walkways, and monuments. I found it interesting that the enemy had strongholds in these states and life was still breaking forth.

As I was walking a dark rain cloud covered the area, getting me soaked and cold. I looked for a place to get out of the rain and wind. I noticed a little portico of glass that looked like it covered an entrance to underground parking or something.  I pick up my pace and head for this one and only covered area. I grabbed the handle and it was locked.  I walked around the side to the other door and stumbled upon a man laying on a bench covered with a wool blanket getting soaked by the rain. He noticed me and turned over to not look in my direction.  I grabbed the other door and found out why he was out in the open getting soaked in this cold rain.  I stood there next to him out of the wind and thought how gracious Father God was and is to me.  As I looked at him the memory of me sleeping in my Ford Ranger in the middle of winter in the panhandle of Texas.  I remembered the freezing nights, my empty stomach, the frustration of my situation and ending up with pneumonia.  I prayed for him that he would accept the same grace that was given to me.  The rain let up a bit and I continued praying around the building.

As I finished up I pondered the significance of the name, Salem as the capitol of Oregon. Salem is Hebrew for peace. If I understand it correctly it is first mentioned when Abram was met by Melchizedek - Melek-Tzedek - King-Righteousness/Justice. After saving Lot and defeating Nephilim Kings around Sodom and Gomora.

Salem is Jerusalem.

Genesis 14:18 - And Melchizedek King of Salem hath brought out bread and wine, and he {is} priest of God Most High;

Psalms 76:2 - And His tabernacle is in Salem, And His habitation in Zion.

Salem, Oregon was in the path of 2017 total eclipse, which started the marking of America with the Aleph Tav. The Aleph Tav is the first and last symbol in the Hebrew alephbet and is the mark of Yeshua as Melek-Tzedek. The first Melek-Tzedek was Adam:

Genesis 1:28 - And God blessed them, and God saith to them, 'Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it, and rule over fish of the sea, and over fowl of the heavens, and over every living thing that is creeping upon the earth.'

Yeshua is the last Adam:

1 Corinthians 15:45 - so also it hath been written, `The first man Adam became a living creature,' the last Adam [is] for a life-giving spirit,

Yeshua (Jesus) is the Aleph Tav or Alpha and the Omega (in Greek).

Revelation 1:8

Verse Concepts

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Revelation 1:17-18

When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man. And He placed His right hand on me, saying, “Do not be afraid; I am the first and the last, and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.

Revelation 21:6-7

Then He said to me, “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost. He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son.

Revelation 22:13

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”

Isaiah 44:6

“Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts:

‘I am the first and I am the last,

And there is no God besides Me.

Isaiah 48:12

“Listen to Me, O Jacob, even Israel whom I called;

I am He, I am the first, I am also the last.

As I was setting up to decree and commission, I found it interesting that there were monuments of pastors and reverends that founded the Oregon Territory, that are now witnesses of our prayers, decree, and commissioning.

At 2:30pm we decreed which established and seated a government Angle over the capitol. We took our picture, loaded up and took off for California.  The blizzard was shortly behind us.

May the Salem of Yah rest on you and you walk in Shalom!
